In October 2005 Marros riding Centre became an Approved Pony Club Centre. This gives local children the same opportunities as children with their own ponies. In the first month we had 35 members join. We were amazed at the response by our local children and parents. We held a Pony Club Activity Day every 2nd Saturday in the month until January 2008 when we had to increase this to Sunday as well. We have four groups of children and they have a Riding Lesson, Activity session, Stable Management Session and an Achievement Badge Session. We have several parents who help out and this is greatly appreciated as it makes the day run smoothly, especially lunchtime. In November 2008 we held our first presentation evening as we now have 62 members and we want to reward our hard working members whilst giving them and their families an evening of fun.
