We are in process of starting a new Riding for the Disabled group called Marros RDA. We have all of our trustees in place and a band of volunteers to help run the new group. Assessments of instructors are taking place (Hazel & Sarah) and a helper training day is being organised to enable us to take our first members very soon (hopefully just after the Easter Holiday). Anyone wishing further information please ask - more volunteers welcome and any riders wishing to use the RDA group please ask for further details. We will keep you posted when we start fund raising for the group. We have now completed our first session for the RDA. 6 children from a local school joined the group and had their first lesson. All the volunteers did a sterling job and all agreed to come back the following week. We are just doing 2 sessions before the summer holidays and will start properly in September 2009.
