Most of the lessons take place in the indoor school during the winter months to get people & horses out of the whatever the weather is doing outside. The surface is a composite of sand and rubber (20 tons of shredded car tyres in fact) that gives an ideal riding surface. Overlooked by the coffee shop spectators can watch whatever is going on in the school in comfort

The floodlit indoor school is one of the centre's greatest assets. It
enables lessons to take place at any time of day and in any type of weather. It
enables people to get their first experiences of trotting, cantering and jumping
in a enclosed space.
