We have finally managed to get planning permission to convert some of the barns into accommodation for people who want to stay at Marros as well as ride here.  This page will contain the hopefully successful tale of the building work due to start in the Autumn of 2009 (We need to wait until the baby swallows & house martins have flown off to Africa.

I will be adding some before, during & after pictures as time goes on so you can see how things are hopefully progressing

We have had to have a bat survey done during the summer. We are just waiting for the report to be done and sent to the council and we should be able to finally start.

2011

Finally, after many months / years we now have a "bat" licence to be able to start the cottages from March 2011 so let the battle commence!! We have to build a "bat house" first then then roof will be coming off the main barn in April 2011.
