Marros Riding Centre is family owned and run, set in 140 acres  including 15 acres of unspoilt, ancient woodland. We have over 40  licensed horses and ponies to suit all standards of rider. All levels of  rider are catered for. Individuals, couples, groups & families are  welcome. We also enjoy working with special needs clients and have  very patient horses who love to please. We believe horse riding should be enjoyable for everyone so we keep groups small and concentrate on giving our customers a quality  experience. We are proudly approved by the British Horse Society,  Association of British Riding Schools as well as being a Pony Club  Centre. All staff are experienced and hold recognised equestrian  qualifications as well as being first aid at work trained.  We are open all year round including weekends, bank holidays and  school holidays. We close Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years  Day. We advise booking to ensure the staff and horses are ready for  you. Bookings can be taken by phone or email. Please be patient with  our email replies as we spend more time on the yard than we do in  the office!

About us   Hazel and Peter moved to the Riding Centre in 2002 with their two  daughters, Becki and Lotti, and their ponies Biscuit and Juno. They  started off with 15 horses and 21 acres of land. Over the years, they  have purchased more land and a lot more horses - the farm is now  140 acres with over 50 horses! Both Becki and Lotti moved away for  College or University but still helped during holidays. Once they had  their chosen qualifications, came back to the riding centre to work  full time.    We also have Amber and Sarah who work at the riding centre as well  as Toni-Leigh who is with us on an apprenticeship scheme. During  holiday time we have a number of lovely helpers.
In March 2017, we were selected to be finalists at the Carmarthenshire  Means Business Awards. We changed out of our wet, muddy yard clothes  and into our Glad Rags for a lovely evening. The evening was made even  better when we were chosen to be Runner Ups in ‘Best Family Business’  category and then Winners of ‘Best Tourism Business’. We also went on  to win the Editors’ Choice Award out of all the winners! To be recognised for the hard work we do is indescribable. It makes all the wet mornings  and dark evenings worth it!
